Thanks, Lord Iggy! Has your order been delivered yet? Also, see if you can spot your epic creature in these pics
I might as well finish up the story of my people getting into space...
In the Civ stage, I got defeated several times, I didn’t realise you can only restart at your saved game! I saved in a bad position, after squandering a load of money. I was able to find a way out after a few goes, but it could have been even worse and I could have had to abandon the planet/game completely.
Also, resizing these pics has ‘softened’ them and made them look better than what I actually see in-game.
Patches needed for ‘phase restart’ option, and for allowing greater graphics in civ / space stage on higher spec PC’s!

Inevitably, I was evicted from my home continent. But in this timeline, my religious ships gave me a foothold across the sea and allowed me to survive the loss of my capitol. The evil red empire gained control of my old continent.
Military powers were taking over the planet. With a converted military city, my religious steampunk machine cultists were finally able to build their own military. The other continent was split between warring factions. With the help of my ally I was able to gain control of most of it, and due to the greater number of cities there I ended up most powerful overall.
Eventually, with a big war fleet and aircraft, I was able to retake my capitol, though it was no longer a religious city.
We didn’t start the war, but we finished it.
I used the black cloud of demoralization against the final enemy city.
My original city was rebuilt as a nice place with no factories

Although it was irrevocably militarised by this point.
Victory day celebrations with antique aircraft!
My ally, with his one religious city (the only non-military city left), united with me in victory. I built some more random vehicles and took pictures before moving on to space.
An unfortunate incident with a giant creature!
Preparing for liftoff…
A spaceship! I spent a lot of time designing it, and some more time buzzing my home planet. It was fun flying over old landmarks where I had been sniffing around in the creature phase.
Then into space, and the moon which, strangely, had suddenly appeared in orbit…
And then… well, I’ve seen some cool stuff since then

I found a Scotland-like planet I hope to colonise some day. If I can survive the aggressive Bitey empire.
