So where's the Multi-Player Club gonna be based?

I see here at the site there's a section for an interesting team based Email Multi-Player community. But unless I just haven't read the right threads, I have not come across a multi-player community (Forum or whatever)

1/3 of the people responding to the MP pole have indicated that the MP is important to them. So, there's a good bunch of MPers here.

Civ4 is going to accomodate Multi-Player better than ever before and since no one seems to like annonamous MP, it's always better to do so in a community where you're accountable for finishing what you've started.

I'm hoping to see some MP community form somewhere and figured it should probably be here. I can see some great oportunities to build relationships and rivalries in teams and solo multiplayer.

Anyone have some info I've not come across on a MP community or wanna get plans started to get one rolling?

There's no ambition here at this site to organize something similar?

I suppose that ladder site does the job... But I really don't like the layout, and while it has it's free option, I think a pay for service site like that one should be done better.

MP has never been big either here or at Apolyton. This probably won't change for Civ 4 either.

the Ladder site had its own problems but it was the only game in town...the best game i ever had tho was a free for all with a good multi national crowd-
I think there is going to be a different set up with civ4 as it will monitor quitters/ winners ect. and this "format" may make the Ladder obsolete.
