"Everything" only goes as far as how much the person is willing to write. And initially what he is willing to write includes the most common trends about what I’m asking (which is exactly what I want to know). I wouldn't expect a novel from anyone here, but if you specialize in that field and have written one, let me know.

So, if I could word it differently, I’d ask for the most common trends and/or patterns of what you know or notice amongst people when it comes to this.

Common trend : the larger one's vocubulary the further they will ultimately go.

Unless they mostly know depressing words.

Sociologists, like Economists, have physics envy; that is, they want to be taken seriously as a science. It mainfest itself differently in the two domains, however. Economists make all kind of equations and models, no matter how disconnected from reality it is. Sociologists use big complex words to say something it take normal people a quarter of the time to say something.
