Back in those days when I played civ2, I discovered some great scenarios on a commercial CD-ROM.
- one was about the mongols. New settings for the units as well as new unit graphics. The map was huge.
- another one was about alexander the great. A huge map of greek, the middle east and pakistan together with some new units like a big wooden tower to invade cities.
- the last one was also really cool, it was about europe and the meditaranean about 650 AD.
Even without having one turn passed it was just fun to load the scenarios. Watching the historical details (king Dagobert in what is now called france), the landscape, etcetera.
I think it are really good scenarios however they don't appear in the download-database. There is only one about the mongols and as I haven't loaded it I am not sure wether it is the one i mentioned.
