They are too busy disabling cheats to do anything like that.
Yeah, their priorities aren't that great. They should be adding new features to the editor, rather than fixing bugs/problems that aren't hurting anyone (example: the rename, cancel, a/d bug).
To Firaxis:
We don't care about typos in the civilopedia text! We want a minimap!
