Some issues I've noticed

I was under the impression that no bombard type combat could kill a unit, it could only reduce it to a percentage damaged.

I have killed units multiple times with bombard damage, and I when I lost one unit due to that, I specifically checked the combat log if there was an entry for that. I couldn't find any other cause for the death of that unit except collateral damage.

Bombard damage and collateral damage are not the same thing I think. Bombarding a unit does bombard damage to it (which CAN kill) and collateral damage to OTHER units (which cannot). At least that's my understanding

They are not the same thing, correct. Although I cannot remember anymore if that was with Collateral or Bombard damage.
