Some things dont work the GAME DOESENT WORK!

I Put rom into the mods,,nothing appears in the game
So i opend civconfig,changed the tspecify mod from 0 into rise of mankind riseofmankind
or riseofmankind(version number here)Nothing it says that riseofmankind isent a valid dictonary,Please reply!I LOVE ROM

What is the exact directory name (full name please starting with your hard disk drive letter, i.e. C:\Program Files\Firaxis etc.) you placed RoM in and can you attach your civconfig? That should make it easier to help you out.

OK, and the folder you put RoM in is called?

ROM will only work if the modfolder is called "Rise of Mankind" with those spaces included. No version number at the end, or it will produce errors.

So ummmm...... actually the title of your post is kinda bogus.
ROM works just fine you just cannot install it ?
Its a shot in the dark, but Id say, maybe change the title of thread too 'Newb needs help installing ROM proper like', might get you some play.
It cant hurt. As your going nowhere fast here, and while I cannot help you myself, I can give this advice.
Looking at the title of thread, immediately brought to mind major flamage about to ensue. You know the kind,
'this mod blew up my hardrive and fired my manager(?) etc etc etc'
Which, and Im just guessing here, but I don't think that is the response you were after ?
Who knows ?
Good luck with it, I just downloaded the mod myself and I am about to try it out.

what happened to me couple of times is that when you extract the rar/zip archive, it gets put inside rom folder ie

mods->Rise of Mankind -> Rise of Mankind

that's when i was getting the invalid mod error. Make sure it's not the case.

Well,I Cant find that thing anywhere,do i make it a zip/rar archive then orverwrite it?
And.Only the 2.91 Torrent Is a folder,but i cant copy rar's

Inside folder Rise of Mankind

there should be

Assets
Autolog
Docs
...
...

well, if there are errors when extracting the file, maybe redownload or try a different unzipper.
Make sure to clean your internetcache as I suspect some browsers will simply provide the old data when trying to redownload.
