Some thoughts about the mod

Hey all,

Really love this mod and it really shows a lot of effort went into it. I am seeing myself play it a lot more in the future. One thing struck me though, The game shouldn't end in the year 2050. It should at least end in the year 2100 based on the tech progression. I wasn't even able to get to the wormhole tech and I was the top civ in the game (had huge science output) and I got to 2050 while getting halfway through the information age tree. Maybe I was not playing it optimally or something.

Also, the music files for CTP are readily available. Have you guys considered adding music from CTP to the mod? That would make the experience really come out I think.

Regardless, these were just thoughts of mine. Still love the mod! Great job guys!
 
I'm just about to start playing this mod, but I'd like to know few questions:

1) any where to see a TOTAL list of all the units, civs, features etc. ?

2) I've never played call to power but I know some of it's cool features. Does this mod have something common with it?
 
Hi guys. At the current version, its total similarity to Call to Power is quite low. All that CCTP shares is a monopoly system, governments, and future eras. As I was thinking about it, it seemed that a better name could be chosen, but since we have pretty decent name recognition...:lol:

Haig, a total list would be HUGE. Like really, really, really huge. That being said, I'll try to release one that is close to complete when the next version drops. But there are literally hundreds (if not thousands of changes from vanilla).

Iirc the only reaon why the game ends in 2050, is when you plaw with time victory enabled.
I suggest all cctp player, to disable time victory.

I like the zany future units, I started a later era game.
