some weird error message?

I am running version 1.09 and I have applied PatchByHarkonnen.dll and followed all of the steps and I get this weird error message in the middle of my game. I have tried rolling back the drivers with no luck.

bump. I would really appreciate some help with this, because I payed $50 for this game and I can't even play it for more than 10 minutes. I have looked through the forums and tried all of the fixes with no luck.

Can you describe a little more what the symptoms of your problems are prior to that error message if any, its difficult to apply the mind to your problem without fully understanding what you are getting at your end

The Harkonnen patch is not a fix-it-all and is aimed at the Major Problem of Memory Management, you could still have some of the other known hassles that might cloud the effect of the patch, equally it may not apply to you, it does not help everyone, but more info is needed on symptoms to progress further

the game does not slow down or anything. The error message comes up and then the game exits.it has crashed during the tutorial and during a regular game. I have posted the error message in my first post. If you need anymore information let me know. Thanks for the help.

If your game runs ok, and you still get that memory error message with Harky's patch, me stumped. Its obviously a memory related issue, but I am afraid I dont know where this one is - sorry.

Chack back in later, one of the "guru's" may see it and post something.

EDIT: You could try nipping over to the Harkonnen thread, I have seen a couple of the more unusual issues resolved by a couple of tweeks suggested on that thread, there are some v good programmers on that thread who may know - worth a try
