Someone please help

Ok I'm just looking to be able to play this mod. I don't know anything about coding or all that, so I appreciate all the hard work that went into this, and is still going in to it.

I'm having a problem, where if I try to start the mod from CIV itself, it won't restart. If I try starting from the launch icon in the mod folder, it just says CIV 4 has generated errors and needs to be shut down. The one time it said it couldn't find something on C/program files/firaxis..... but I have CIV installed on the E drive. I also tried to replace the Assets file with the FfH assets file (I backed up the original). I could get the game to play, but I didn't have the interface, and on load I would get a message saying something about Python CVEventInterface, not being able to load.

I'm stuck with a stupidly slow internet connection (my fastest is 36.1Kbps) and I can't get high speed where I live. So if I need to download something else I need to go to someones house. If someone could please help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Put that origional assets file back.

You need to download the big file (a little over 200 meg). When you install it will default to the C: location, just change that in the dialog box to whereever you installed Civ4 and it should work. It goes in the Mods directory under the 'Sid Meier's Civilization 4' directory.

I do have the big file dowloaded, it's 432MB uncompressed, it's in my mods folder under it's own folder Fall from Heaven 2 012, then I downloaded a patch, before I realized it wasn't the newest one, and it made it's own folder in the mods folder Fall from Heaven 2 014. And they both show up in my mods directory, when I play the game, but neither one works. Oh and I put the assets folder back.

Yeah forget 012, you can delete that. You need the big 200 meg download of 015. Patches only work for the version they are written for (so 015i has to go on a full install of 015).
