Is there a stack move function in conquests? If I have 40 medieval infantry on the same square an I want to move them somewhere it gets REALLY tedious doing it individually for each one, is there any option to move them all at once? Also can u make it so that if u want to upgrade all your spearmen to musket men u don't have to do it with each one individually?

And one more question, with bombarding can u make e.g a bomber bomb the same enemy city every turn until it is told otherwise/shot down?

The answer is yes to your first two questions, but no to your last question.
1. The way you do auto move is by that little button at the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Just above that box that tells you what civ you are, what you are researching, your gpt intake is, etc...there are two buttons that do move stack. One is to move all units of the same type in the stack. The other button is to move all units regardless of the type in the stack. Pretty simple but if you need more help I can attach a picture.
2. Mass upgrade is simple. Have all the spearmen in a city with a barracks, or multiple cities, but they must all have barracks. Hit shift-U and it will mass upgrade all of that type.
3. I think the answer is no.

You're right on the first two DogBoy, but I'm pretty sure AutoBombard works for bombers. It's tough to use for land based bombard units, since the order is cancelled if the unit is next to an enemy unit. (So it's absolutely useless until you get artillery). But for bombers, I think it works. Just curious, GoToParaguay, but why would you want to keep bombing the same square over and over? Just capture it already!

EDIT: Sorry, to clarify, the autobombard button is in the group of buttons between the minimap and the status box at the bottom of the screen. I think it is represented with a group of three bombs on one button. You have to have "show advanced unit actions," or something like that, activated on the preferences screen.

hey guys thanks alot that really helps makes the game a tonne more fun to play!!!!

COuld you possibly answer just one more question I have about the editor?

Is it possible to wipe all natural resources off a randomly generated map/ randomly generate a map without natural resources. It takes alot of time to delete every little resource individually just so I can choose where they go, any help would be much appreciated :)

lol normally when I'm playing these games and attacking a civ (I play on emperor) they always defend their capital with an insane amount of units, what I like to do is have my bombers continually bombing it and destroying improvements/reducing pop and occasionally killing the troops, while I capture their ther cities :D

The easiest way to do this is to modify all resources in the editor so that they are either strategic or luxury. Give each resource an appearance ratio of 1. This will give you very few resources on the map (and thus leave very few to delete). Once you are finished deleting the resources, go to Rules/Restore Default Rules (so that you get all those appearance and types restored).

If you want to eliminate goodie huts...well, try a civ 2 map "cuz it don't look good fer tryin' tuh git rid of em'" of course you could always play on no barbarians and then there will be no goodie huts...

thanks i'll try that out :D
I can't believe how helpfull people are on this forums, so many replies in about 12 hours :D thanks again!

Without wishing to sound like a completely ignorant person I've just thought of another point. In this game I was playing yesterday I signed a ROP with the Zulu, 20 turns came and went, but they did not cancel the pact, now later in the game about 40 or 50 turns after the pact I felt the time was right to attack the zulu, but couldn't find anyway to cancel the ROP and ended up ruining my reputation by attacking them. How do I cancel such deals? Also at one point in the game I was at war with england, as were the netherlands, I decided to help them out by giving them oil and aluminium for no price, however I could for the life of me figure out how to stop sending them those resources after the war was over, any tips?

Good question, and I have a good answer. If you wish to cancel any agreement like that, open up the diplomacy window. At the bottom right of the window you will see a tab called "active". Click on that tab. Now take the ROP and whatever else you want out of the window. It will ask you stuff like are you sure and do you really want to, blah blah.

Also, in preferences, there is an option called "always renegotiate deals" (or something like that). Having this checked will automatically bring up the diplomacy screen after 20 turns so you can review the deal. Very handy. :)

No you just have to go into Preferences and turn off the cancel orders for enemy unit flag. But that means you'll have to watch any units that are moving very carefully.
