Somthing wrong with CivIV

Hey guys,
My civ4 doesn't load, it crashes after loading a map.
I haven't looked at minimum requirements but this is my machine:

8.4 Ghz Pentium D
MOTHERBOARD COMBO 4MB cache 1000MHz
Processor motherboard are both ATP (Advanced Technology Processing)
8GB PC2-8000 DDR2 1000MHz Memory RAM 4 x 2GB
FireGL V7300 1GB GDDR3 memory
Compaq HP Proliant 300GB 80pin SCA U320 15000 RPM SCSI Hard Drive

I dont' know what could be wrong, all looks good.

Post a dxdiag in this thread. Perhaps someone will spy something out of place. Keep in mind, most of don't have 8.4 GHz machines.

8.4 Ghz, I don't beleive you, i'm sorry but in my world it's not on sale and it's not even created... where are you from, Mars or Pluton ? If i'm wrong, i want the proof, but actually, i don't think i'm wrong !


Here this is a Good Pentium processor for personnal computer... not for server tho !
Processor INTEL® Pentium® 4 670 - 3.8 Ghz FSB 800 Mhz LGA775

886.80$ CAN

Note the 3.8 Ghz... 8.4 Ghz is just impossible in my mind.
If your on a server than your probably not suppose to play Civ4, you suppose to be working...

Give it a couple years, you guys should be able to get them too

yeah I called support, they e-mailed me a small exe patch that fixed it.
Runs as smooth as whistle
