Oops, I thought (and indeed told Stormbringer in his thread) that we were just having elections if it were entirely necessary. Can I use this thread to suggest that if someone wants a job then they post either here or in a special thread and then we can organise a poll if necessary. If the incumbent still wants their job then we can have a vote. Otherwise, one of the two can agree to be the deputy or the incumbent can go for another job. This would seem to be the simplest, especially given that we no longer have that many people here.

Or we can just elect the Prez and then let him appoint the Cabinet. It's his administration after all. I have suggested this sometime ago.

And if no one wants to run for Prez, we'll just have to dragoon someone.......

I don´t like that idea and I believe I wrote why in the same thread that you are refering to. Me may be few left now, but that is no reason to make it even harder for us to attract new players. Letting the president choose would turn the whole thing into a matter of whom he likes the most. That would be bad for several reasons.
