I was wondering if anyone else had ever seen a soundtrack problem that is completely unrelated to the audio XML's. I have a very strange situation in the mod I'm working on.
The last version that I created an installer for, the soundtrack plays just fine, just like all the other music. I made some changes to the mod, mostly adding new units, buildings, balancing technologies and civics. Did not touch anything in the "audio" section of the XML.
Now for some strange reason the background soundtrack music does not play. All other music plays just fine. Ambience, check. Movie music, check. Main menu music, check. Diplomacy music, check. Sound effects, check. Voice, check.
Every single music file is playing fine except the soundtrack, and I really don't want to have to tear all this apart again to find some simple little thing I overlooked. So if anyone has seen a similar problem or has any ideas please help.
