What about Nexus, Jupiter incident? I saw it at Futureshop a year ago, thought it looked interesting.

Is there any site that sells truly legal downloads? I'd totally download one of the kind...

I've been trying to download the exact torrent file you mentioned for a while now (we must be visting the same threads within hours of each other). But the tracker seems to be down. Hopefully it will be back up soon. I have a freespace two disc but. I think I'll download that pack anyway just to make sure everything is together and in one place.FredLC said:Yeah, it is just that they have changed URL... I googled it and now i found the place, still working and kicking ass (amazing how active is the modding community of a 1999 game...)
BTW, fellow CFCers, if you like these games and never played Freespace, you have now quite a time of fun ahead. These great guys from Hard Light, enjoying the freedom of the open source code (for a series of reasons that involves copyrigths, there apparently won't be a Freespace 3, and the developers decided to open the game and it's source code - so now it's actually legal to download it in full for free on the web), created the Freespace 2 SCP complete package.
This includes:
- enhanced graphics compared with the game original version;
- The whole descent:Freespace - the Great War and Silent Threat campains (over 40 missions);
- The whole Freespace2 main campain (over 30 missions; probably over 50 as this may include the extra action of the GOTY edition - with this and the previous, you have the entire official storyline of Freespace)
- The derelict campaign (usermade extraordinary campaign featuring the dicovery of a sister ship of the Flagship destroyer Lucifer - over 40 missions, with full voice acting);
- Best of all, fully legal and completely free of charge. No kidding, just go there, get it, and play over a hundred missions in the best sci-fi space sim game yet.
