I have been playing Starship Tycoon lately but I am growing a bit bored of it. Anyone know of any other ones out there?

Probably EVE Online is the Alpha and Omega one.

For single player, there is Space Rangers 1 & 2, sort of.
Also the "X" series of games.

@GoodGame: I would probably agree with the comment on Eve- but I don't want to spend $10+ a month to play.
I have X2: The Threat somewhere around but I don't have a DVD/CD-ROM drive on this computer right now (my external one died). I have never tried Rangers.... will do so

@WildFire: Played that- too much of a twitch game for me.

I am going to try Imperium Galatica II: Alliance. More of a 4X game (like Sins). I have beem playing MoO2 (Master of Orion) also but getting bored of that too.

Nice finds, GoodGame, I will be checking them out. Thanks!

I know you've said you don't want to spend the money on Eve, but I really feel obligated to push its trading game a bit. The fact that you are competing against other real players to sell goods produced by and to be used by players makes its trading game wonderfully dynamic and engrossing. Some even say that the market game in Eve is more vicious than any of the alliance wars you always hear about.

Honestly, I can't imagine going back to a single player trading game.
