I'm having trouble with my spacebar. I tried to pull it out of the keyboard when I was drunk, but I just made it uneven. Now, I have to slam my fist on it to get it working. Can somebody help me?:help:

Most likely your spacebar has a little spring under it to even it out, and you unclipped it on one side. You better hope the spring is easy to get into place, because most often it isnt.

Look on the bright side, a good excuse to get a brand spanking new keyboard.

Depends on what kind of keyboard you have. You might have to pop it out and reinsert it again.

^Yeh, even if that doesnt work, there should be a small button near the middle of the space bar you can just press then.

Pretty clean post for a malfunctioning space bar. I would have expected:

Keyboards, unless yours is a special model or on a laptop, cost less than $10, some times you can even get one for free.

Otherwise, check the springs/buttons to see if they are loose and try to reposition them.

 Excellent!

Yeah, try a bit of DIY, and if it is actually broken beyond repair, buy yourself a new keyboard - they're pretty inexpensive nowadays. If it's a laptop keyboard, your manufacturer should be able to ship you new parts. Otherwise, you might be forced to get a USB keyboard - or salvage some parts from another laptop the same as yours...

I've got a new keyboard, testing it out right now.
