Yeah I agree that swapping Magnus's chop promotion with the settlers don't reduce pop promotion is a better fix.

That's a pretty powerful promotion, and if it was available earlier, it'd be even better. You can wait on the chops for the second promotion to arrive. I think flipping their order would make Magnus stronger, not weaker.

I'm hoping to get intel on the giant ynaemp with at least 30 civs, before I start another game.

edit: but with the positive reports on combat flooding in, I doubt I will be able to wait.

One new thing... Since the patch any combat sounds are delayed until after the related animation. I find it kind of irritating, but, not, THAT, big of a deal.

Sean Bean voice disappearing bug is still in the game.

At least for me, it seems to be after I use my military engineer whether building forts or airstrips. Previously it occurred when you built districts. I just built a couple of forts for the achievements, and when the tech came up, there was the weird hissing sound (like before) and no Sean Bean.

edit: okay it seems intermittent, sometimes he speaks, sometimes he doesn't.
