Hi,
I've got an issue from my friend's game. He had a spy placed in enemy capital and when the process of gathering evidence was complete, the spy got promoted but he (my friend) was unable to pick a free technology. The menu with choices (technology bar on the left side of his screen) was unclickable. He was able to finish the turn but got no techs. In upcoming turns, he still got the golden spy icon on his right and was still unable to pick his tech.
When I tried to recreate the problem, I used his latest autosave from 5 turns before the event. When the right moment came, my spy got promoted and I also got some intrigue info and the "gathering intelligence" counter got reset. The option to pick technology to steal never appeared.
His Civ5 is running GnK, the version is 1.0.3.80. Mine runs everything possible and up to date.
