Stalin; Pangea; want to share

Thanks y'all!
Yeah I found those options...seems like installing BULL additionally swapped things around on its own in there. Found out about ctrlX too! :D I like dot-map tool, especially in city screen, but all that enabled all the time is sometimes too much. Will continue tonight!

EDIT: I hope saves work, if anyone is checking them. I edited Russian Select & Order folder, for Kingdom of Croatia mod. Now they're speaking my language :D

400 BC

Spoiler :
Started the economic recovery phase. Granaries in all 4 cities and some cottages in capital for starters. Settled 5th city. Probably should've settled it 1E of dye, but oh well...
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0201.jpg
Sally got Alpha, but I'm not gonna trade with him yet, cause he wants BW&Pott for his Myst LOL Mao is settling my way and warrior scouting HC saw his settler is going east toward me. Maybe I should've settled cow&gems or dye first..
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0208.jpg
Had to lower my slider before Aest was done, so it finished in turn 76. Sally didn't want to trade it for Alpha. I could've gotten other 4 techs for it, but I'll put turn or 2 into it and try then.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0213.jpg
It took 3 turns, around 60-70 beakers and I got it. Started on Currency and traded with HC.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0222g.jpg
I wanted IW&AH but that was what I could get. OK, still good. Started running 2 scientists in Bibracte. Waited for a turn and traded with Mao. I know, sailing is useless here, but that was the most I could get, so I did it. I could've take it, researched Priest. and try for Oracle. Ohh well...
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0225u.jpg
I thought about settling 1E of eastern dye as well, but I thought it was too far. So now Darius settled close. Sally is settling my way as well.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0229.jpg
Those 2 are like in my last IU90 game, Sally is getting strong, Darius is falling behind. I'm starting to catch up in techs - didn't want to trade IW to Sally nor anything to Ragnar cause they were still quite ahead.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0232.jpg
My warrior scouted Inca's land and saw he have iron, but only 2 archers (and 2 quechas in capital) so I thought.....I still have 9 axes left (some on garrison duty)...if I'm fast enough....LOL I can whip now again, I have barracks in Vienne and forests in Bibracte...so I sent all I could toward him. Actually I whipped 2 settlers I had in queue and OF into axes. And settled 2 cities on northern coast on same turn.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0234.jpg
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0235.jpg
Those 2 additional sites are not final. Then I saw HC completed 'mids. That sealed it. (Mao researched CoL, didn't Oracle it)
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0237.jpg
Some stayed garrisoned, but the rest of them gathered near his border.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0242.jpg
So I went to scout him again.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0251.jpg
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0252.jpg
I moved my warrior 1E of that iron so I can pillage it. Traded with him:
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0255.jpg
And declared. 11 in first row and 4 or 5 still coming. Got 2 workers - great, I need them!
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0268.jpg
I think he upgraded his quecha to axe. That's not gonna help. Started with 3 xp guy to soften archer. Won at 59%. OK, next 5 xp guy with CR2 won at 75%. Captured! Empty again, but I'm not gonna complain. Land is great! Moved the rest toward his capital. Got -2 with Mao and Ragnar for friend thing. Got GS in Bibracte and sent him to Moscow (I think I'm not gonna move my capital). Somewhere around here I started to work 2 scientists in St. P. as well. Pillaged his iron, he moved sword&quecha toward me, but shock promoted guy killed him at 90%. 3 more axes came from behind. The remaining 7 moved next to Cuzco. Axe and archer in. Looks like I cought him with his pants down as well
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0292.jpg

Turn 93 (550BC) Currency finished and I started on Priesthood. Probably late but I'm gonna try for Oracle. Now I know I should've started researching it on turn I traded for Meditation 3 turns ago. That's all I needed. He didn't whip anything so I attacked with 7, didn't wait for other to join. Lost at 9%, lost at 23%, won at 45%. Got GGeneral. Next one won at 96%. Finally not empty city!
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0304.jpg
I started on Statue of Zeus here. I think this might be wonder-based GPFarm. Scouted most of continent and send scout back to upgrade him. Beijing is looking nice as well Hahaha But I think axe-time is over, I should wait at least for catas.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0310.jpg
Galleys? Islands? Maybe I should scout waters...I thought making peace with HC, but he didn't have any techs to give. So I continued to move toward him. Turn 94 GS built academy in Moscow. PHood is done, started on Poly. Whipped granary in Rostov where I had 2 workers (and one close) and lots of forests for Oracle. Marble will be quarried next turn. HC have settler on the move. Good, there is one more spot up there! So I moved my stack on hill to south not to spook him.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0321.jpg
But I did, he moved him back in, but he left archer out. I should've waited one turn, maybe even moved back one tile.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0324.jpg
Ohh well, let's finish this then. Won at 20%, lost at 26%, 28% & 27% (mixed a bit to see what's the best) and then won at 96% 91% and twice at 100%. Granary and monument inside and Inca's are gone!
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0340.jpg
Turn 97 finished Poly and started on Lit. 4 turns to complete Oracle, Mao built it. Actually 2 of 3 forests would be chopped in 2 turns. Heh, I should've chopped one with 2 workers, probably would still made it.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0348.jpg
Now he already have Philosophy. Yep, as soon as I get cats, Mao is next. I don't care if he's protective :D I made another mistake here. Wanted to create scout GMedic, but wasn't looking hard enough. I thought he have combat1.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0351.jpg
Nope, that's woodsman1. Ohh well, maybe I get another one. Then I'll have ultra-super GMedic. Switched to Rep. Got 94 gold from Oracle. Now I'll build Parthenon in Rostov. Cause why not? 2 chops for 115 hammers. Kuul.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0364.jpg
LOL
Spoiler image :
AAAAAAAAARGH!!!!!!
civ4screenshot0365.jpg
I know I'm not consistent with some of my thoughts (Cuzco as wonder-based GPFarm and then I chop Parth in Rostov and stuff like that...) but I just can't help it.

Yea, this ones pretty quick. Could have 14 cities a little after 1AD but razed a lot cause I have quite a few units (can't afford everything). I've killed the closet 2 AIs and capitulated another, with an additional capitulation in 1-2 turns. That will leave 2 AIs a little after 1AD and I have a scary stack of HAs (55+). Non stop whip/chop/build with lots of conquest gold. Game should be over around 500 AD, worst case.

So I guess I chose the right path as I see you guys did similar thing. Kuul. I think player should always start with Agr trait, we're all warmongers! :D
...Game should be over around 500 AD, worst case.
LOL Insane. I get attached to the map, especially with all good spots like this one has, and just when everything is set up and empire picks up the pace for fun times - game over?

EDIT: I forgot to ask...would you even bother settling more cities?
Spoiler :
Like this?
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0370.jpg
I think those may not even be worth it, especially wine/horses - although it's close to capital, those cottages are already developed. "Scout me" probably maybe if there's seafood there, or better "if not ele" to help develop future Bibracte's cottages?

Then one here maybe? This one could develop some Novgorod's cottages. Yeah, I plan Novgorod too for comm :D
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0371.jpg
This is not likely, cause I don't want border frictions...or is it worth it?
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0372.jpg
And this one is obvious, amazing site for MoaiS (maybe one on ele get MoaiS).
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0373.jpg
It's still early in game, some of this sites are still worth settling, right?

A thing I forgot to mention, 3 cities are working on GS now.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0374.jpg
I need more workers! :D

Until 200 BC

Spoiler :

Well, the map is easy besides everyone seems to hate you.
I got lucky that Brennus didn't found a religion and that I chopped out a settled to grab the gem sport right in front of him. I did settle my capitol on the PH as well.
Just a weird game where noone got any cities. My 3rd city went by the copper. Then I oracled MC 1200 BC and just peacefully rexed. HC built wonders and forgot to expand. He got Alpha super early, like 1500 BC, so I traded for a couple of techs. Got the double gem spot too which totally boxed him in. Around 500 BC everyone started plotting, Brennus, Ragnar and Mao and all seems to be plotting on me. Well, with me having 7 cities and with room for more and only China getting as many I was not that worried. Got litt and built TGL while alos building an academy. I got a ton of gold from failed ToA which helped me get to currency. Just to secure my gems by Brennus I built the oracle in that city and all that culture got to him as he dowed me around 400 BC. His stack was pathetic and lost everything. I could go all out and take Brennus out, but I have to be careful with Mao and ragnar ready to dow any time. Besides I am just waiting for more failgold from the parth to get me to CoL and bea. I have lots of happiness and see no reason to go all out when I am way ahead of all the other AIs. HC and Darius has 3 cities each, Brennus 4, Saladin and Ragnar 5. Only Mao has 7 cities and many in the Jungle. I have several good spots and will take it nice and easy stomping everyone with cuirs.

@ Dubioza

Nope ^^. In most cases I just don't see the point in expanding past 8-10 cities before my renaissance war, if that late of a war is even desired. Anything to a certain extent starts to slow you down. Of course this changes if were isolated or have no access to iron/horse and need to make a longer haul down the line to Rifles, at which point I don't mind having a lot more cities.

But in this maps case HAs really is more than enough. Mass whip/whip till the need to mass build wealth, a couple markets in high commerce area's, and then back to massing HAs. So my slider was on zero a lot. Only a few times to max to get myself to Feud, at which point slider was on zero for rest of game.

800 AD

I played it yesterday, but didn't have time to update. I noticed it slowed me down already with 10 cities, but I teched Math in 3 turns and stuff like that :D I needed to set up "helper" city/s sooner. So, in short:

Spoiler :

Tech path after Lit = Math - Construction - Calender - Music. Lazily started to build catas. 75 BC finished Parth. Mao started plotting, I was sure it's gonna be Darius. But then Darius converted to hindu, so now it could be me.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0380.jpg
Traded Currency for Monarchy with Sally,
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0385.jpg
and next turn Sally asks me to convert to hindu as well. I was thinking about it, I didn't want Mao to attack me. I think I had enough units to defend, even attack him, but wanted to tech a bit, got distracted by good land :D
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0386.jpg
And I did settle some cities after all...
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0389.jpg
Got GA from Music and started chopping MoM in Cuzco. Researched CoL, Mao stopped plotting and I saw I was Ragnar's worst enemy. So I moved my units to Vienne, HE city. He settled my spot!
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0395.jpg
I gifted him Meditation and copper (he had iron already, so..), but too late as he declared later. Got GS and bulbed Philo as I researched CS.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0400.jpg
275 AD got MoM and started GAge. Settled east coast to slowly work some cottages.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0405.jpg
350 AD got GLib in capital and turn later got GEngineer in Cuzco. I was researching paper, and will research 4 turn MC so I can bulb something good after. 450 AD got GS in Moscow and partially bulbed Edu.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0412.jpg
500 AD MC is done and I started on 3 turn Feudalism. GEngineer bulbed Machinery.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0416v.jpg
I totally forgot to switch civics, so 3 turns before end of GAge I switched to Bureau & Pacifism. Ragnar was plotting, but I saw his 2 stacks of 2 swords & 2 lb's & 2 axes so I was still lazily building units :D Sally was 4 turns to MC so I traded it for HbR, while I researched what was left of Edu.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0427.jpg
He had 10 cities, while I had 13. I had to settle 1 more!
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0428.jpg
Too bad I finished MoiaS in Rostov already, cause I thought I won't settle more. But that's a good spot!
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0428.jpg
Just when Edu was finished...
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0430j.jpg
Now I'm ahead in techs, only Sally is researching something I don't have (Guilds) and I think someone have Compass. So after Edu I went for Engin.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0431.jpg
I thought he'll try there, but with 3 cats & 3 chariots?
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0432.jpg
So I got too brave and went toward his city without waiting for more units (cats&ele in ex-HC cities and some maces from all around). Got GS and partially bulbed PPress.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0435.jpg
I tried for Colossus, 2 pop whipped him in one of new northern cities, but failed. Killed some units on my way to first Ragnar's city.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0438.jpg
Again, I thought, that's not a lot units, I can take that!
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0439.jpg
I did, but only 7 catas and 3 axes are now in city defending.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0440.jpg
So he tried to take it back. But failed!
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0442.jpg
I killed units he had left around.
OK, lesson learned. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE RAGNAR! Time to fix that today, whip all around and then whip some more.

1200 AD

Spoiler :
I didn't know that you cannot attach 2nd GGeneral to the same unit. Or is that the case only with scouts? So I created 2nd GMedic with chariot. Tech: after Engin - PPress (had most of it bulbed) - started on Lib in 900 AD. A bit too early, but I plan to take Nation. with it, which is still good. I went deeper in Ragnar's territory, captured Uppsala:
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0453.jpg
and Nidaros:
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0462.jpg
Took Nat. and started on Guilds - going toward Econ for GMerchant. I built NEpic in Cuzco along with a lot of WW's, so I started on TajMahal there too.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0467.jpg
Started GAge with GS & GA.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0473.jpg
2 turn later Ragnar capitulated.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0474.jpg
Did some trading with him to improve relations:
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0475.jpg
And gifted him back that island city. This worked instantly, and few turns later I was not his worst enemy anymore.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0477.jpg
So who's next? LOL I chose Mao, cause he was more advanced then Darius (I had great relations with Sally, so it was between those 2). and earlier he poisoned my water! And he's spending 20+ EP's on me again. So I sent my stack (what was left of it) toward Mao's borders, as well as new elepults and now when Guilds are done knights. Sally built AP, I hope he don't win before I take him out. But that's gonna have to wait for more better units. 1100 AD Taj finished, extending GAge. Time to declare on Mao.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0492.jpg
New stack went for G-zhou:
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0493.jpg
Took it;
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0495.jpg
Left some defenders in and met with old stack near Nanjing:
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0498.jpg
Took that as well:
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0502.jpg
and switched to FMarket. Settled GGeneral in Vienne (HE), finished Econ, went - MT - Gunpowder. Mao did want to capitulate, but he didn't want to give DivineR. Well, power ratio is 3.3, he have only 2 cities...I might just finish him. Some AP voting:
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0512.jpg
Research - R.Parts. Got GA just now, had GP from before and with GM from Econ, I extended GAge even further, 36 turns in a row.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0518.jpg
Current relations:
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0519.jpg
I don't feel like spreading AP religion, so I just might conquer Mecca, so Sally doesn't win. Or delete Mao & cap Darius right after that. Which might get me enough territory to win Domination. So I moved toward next Mao's city:

1550 AD Domination Victory!!

Spoiler :
1230 AD captured Beijing and killed Mao. I like all his cities, production & food-wise!
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0549.jpg
Sally tried to win AP diplo, but I abstained (had most of votes) so he failed. When I saw he can't win like that, I chose Darius for next target. At this point it was really just a matter of finishing.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0554.jpg
1340 AD I declared on Darius. After I took all 5 his cities on mainland, he capitulated.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0579.jpg
I gave him back one, and gave one south-most to Ragnar (old barb city, I could only liberate it to Ragnar). That was turn after my 36 turn GAge finished, and I forgot to switch civics. So I figured, I'll wait for Emancipation then, which didn't come, cause game finished before that :D Then I saw Sally had rifles, so I started on cannons.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0589.jpg
He kept trying for diplo win, but didn't even came close.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0590.jpg
Nidaros got Ironworks and was top hammer city.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0594.jpg
Even Chinese old cities produced more hammers then my HE&WP city, but that was all close, 40-50 :hammers: I had 8 cities building cannons, all close to one turn, some 1 turn indeed.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0603.jpg
So when I had 40 cannons in place, I declared on Sally in 1530.
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0605.jpg
He tried to vote to stop the war, but yeah right :D
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0608.jpg
I had ~60% land for domination (out of 64% needed), so I took 3 his cities and ran with cavs toward his capital, captured it
Spoiler image :
civ4screenshot0636.jpg
traded what I could, killed around what I could (I guess for better score?) and next turn won. I guess score has a lot to do with difficulty level, cause every game my score is getting a lot better.
