for point 2) :
of course I have meant to paradrop a naval unit ... ?!?
Don't mean to get off topic here, but:
I just recently did a series of tests on this... I was trying to create the ability for certain aircraft to airdrop naval mines into the sea. So I created an immobile naval unit (the naval mine), and was able to load it into the aircraft, but when the aircraft paradrops it into any water tile (sea, ocean, coast), the unit was destroyed. In further tests, I found that the game won't even allow you to paradrop it into a visible water tile. It does allow the unit to be transported to other cities though.
It must be hardcoded that any paradrop unit must hit a land tile (and an empty land tile at that - no units).

Perfection is a pentagonal fort![]()
I was wondering when Perfection would show up for this one.
It would be cool to use this as an avatar my orignal is in my user picture, anyone want to give it a whack?
Hmmm ,what about making it an immobile ship ?
Any good program reccomendations?Resize to your hearts content.

I prefer using Adobe however you might want to try gimp which is a free program. The difference between raster and vector graphics is fairly complex and beyond the scope of this thread. currently the only vector formats that are useable on the world wide web are SVG and SWF. You will need to use a "paint" type program that creates a raster graphic for use as an avatar.Any good program reccomendations?
And that's in a vector format, correct? Might it be better to resize it from that?
