Think you should abandon your current game. I discovered a major bug. Start is actually 'Monarchy' and taking it away from the Romulans causes them to go into a dictatorship which ruins them. This next test version (3.1A) fixes that plus I've managed to included full obsolecence of all foreign shipdesigns.

I think there's no need to bother with the report, that would only slow you down.

Just some general comments would do.

Also....
Is the research rate too fast now? (its 9 instead of 12)
Do you really dislike the built in hate triggers?
Are the Romulans less wimpy now?
Do you like the new negotiation and pop up messages I've included ?

p.s.
The patch you downloaded doesn't include the slight change I made to the tree so the Borg wouldn't get to genesis first. I've also since made the D'deridex cloaked and the Norexan a normal ship.

Well, the commentaries:

* I don't like the new research rate, because the Neutrals got many tech too early. Also the Orions dismbarck in Federation home system before I'm able (as federation) to design any ship...

*I like the new diplomatics messages (you are living "borrow time" and things like that )

* I haven't noticed any change in Romulan attitude, but I've not checked it extensively.

* I don't have any problem with the "hate triggers", but I dislike that the Federation ask me for peace every single turn when I'm Klingon (that is: I would love the trigger if you would cutt off the communications between Federation and Klingons after the launch of the hatte trigger)

I had a game going as the Feds but then my computer buggered and I had to reformat. So much for that. I'll start a new one tomorrow.

The Neutral anomoly has to do with the additional 6 obsolescence techs. Reducing the cosmic research rate would make it even later before you (Fed) get a ship. I'll start of the Neutrals researching Neutral Innate so they don't begin with a syndicate government and maybe reduce their planet sizes to 1 to slow their research down a bit.

It may be a good thing that the Orions go to Earth first. Maybe you (Fed) can get the raider design from them and start off earlier.

I'll change the hate triggers to the capture of Unimatrix01 instead of basing it on ship design progress.
