Flamand, Yes that is what I meant. :D As the Tholians should have a major defense capability because of the web. I agree with Tzar Sasha, as I think relay stations would look better for roads and railroads.

Flamand, That is the problem I am having with my mod on Fallout. I have no gfx ability.:) So I have to wait for others to help with them. I am full of ideas, but can't put them to art.

As a temp gfx, you could take the blue mining beam off of the Mining Station and use it as a relay station. As I think it looks quite good as a station.

Roads are finished now, they'll be similar in design to the railroads in the War of the Worlds mod (like your footer says Thorgrimm, great mod... :)). I'm working on the city screen now. As soon as that one is finished I'll post another preview.

Thanks, I am looking forward to this upgraded version. I had fun playing the beta, and I am sure this one will be far better :)

btw : AI Problems : A friend of mine told me, it would be great, if we publish this mod as a multiplayer game. maybe some special scenarios with different races each ;)

Sounds like a good idea... but I dunno how to make a multiplayer game, maybe you can modify it into one after I finished... ;)
 
Hmm, I don't see why Multiplayer shouldn't work. Glorfinder and me wanted to test it some time ago, but then... you know ;)
Anyway, it should work, and yes the AI got it's problems with the map *g*
 
The city screen and the new roads are almost finished. I couldn't wait to show you guys... :) comments anyone?

Maybe I should still work on the population heads. It would seem happy Romulans still look terribly unhappy... :D
 
I like the way the city screen looks. As I keep thinking that a 'colony interface' would be cluttered. :D I also like the look of the roads. :goodjob:

What do you mean by 'colony interface'? Glad you like it...:)

To Vadus: I'll try to declutter the city screen a little, it's still not finished...
 
Hey i jsut downloaded your mod, it's great i love it but i do have a few questions. I walked into this knowing nothing about the mod other then the fact i downloaded it, a few things kinda caught my by suprise, it takes forever for colonests, but then i found the readme files int eh dir under sccenarios, but you missed a few things in that. For example, what jobs can the worker do (for the better of the mod) and should i be trying to mine or irrigate planets and asteriods? my planets are growing so slowly..... it's scarey! my homeworld is a slow but steady grower, although i only want to make labours, and i just finally got anouther planet that is above 1, though i think i just spotted somewhere once i buld (whatever the hospotal is) then it will grow.....
but other then a few confusing molments where i'm woundering how to do somethign i'd normally do, it's great! my frist try was with teh dominion, and though it appears it's teh smallests ship selection so far, i'm haveing fun! great work!

It's been a while since I've played it. But I do know that it was designed to require a certain resource to build a certain building to surpase size 2. Which means that on those planets which don't have the required resource, (or a source of fresh water) will need that building built. Fresh water huh... Look for asteroids and planets that surround at least one tile of stars. That would be a freshwater lake...

It's intent was to allow for more fighting over resources...
 
well a friend and i are playing the 0.7.0 ver, it is fun, but what do the labourers do? i know they can make roads, but when i try to mine or irrigate it askes me if i wanna remove a previous enhancement... so i end up doing nothing but roads with them... and that doesn't take long... unless i can buld roads from one system to another, that could be interesting i'm sure....

haha i just found the omega resource...... i hope that means good things are in for my dominion civilization!
 
I have a question are you going to have the Mirror Universe stuff? I would like to see The Terran Empire vs The Federation. ^_^
