So what did you guys think of that new South Park episode where Lucas and Spielberg literally rape Indiana Jones as a metaphor for what they had done with the Crystal Skull movie?

Heard them talking about it on the radio last night so I watched on South Park Zone.

Personally I thought it was the one of the funniest South Parks yet (behind the "Go, God, Go" series) just because it was so depraved and over the line. Then again I don't have any taste whatsoever.

I especially enjoyed the Deliverance spoof and the crazed look Spielberg gets when he is ripping off Indiana's pant's.

The new one where Cartman gets beat up is a lot better.

I haven't watched South Park in years, but if they were going to show George Lucas raping a franchise, they should have shown him doing it to Star Wars. He raped that franchise repeatedly and violently.

They did that. The police walked in and found him raping a storm trooper .

I liked the last Indy... I tought the episode was funny, but I don't share their concern over the last effort of the Lucas/Spielberg tandem.

The end of the show showed Lucas raping a Stormtrooper.

Since all stormtroopers are clones, does that mean he's raping all of them?

And honestly, the stormtroopers are from New Zealand, they probably liked it.

I agree, it wasn't bad. I don't think it was as good as the first three, but it was still entertaining. Now the new Star Wars films... They were just tragic.

OK for one, you need to seriously read up on Wookiepedia. Clonetroopers are all from New Zealand. Stormtroopers are mixed clones from different people. I mean seriously dude.

Second, South Park missed their chance to show Han Solo getting man-raped since episode III was released like four years ago. I don't even think Matt and Trey liked the original trilogy to begin with.

Dude, they also included trained officers. Boba Fett became a Stormtrooper by going to the Imperial Academy at Carida. And let's not forget Major Tierce. The Spaarti Cloning Cylinders also cranked out stormtroopers, and many of them were New Zealanders, a.k.a. Mandalorian. Don't try matching Star Wars knowledge with me girlfriend.

And the books pwn the original trilogy. Thrawn is awesome.

Bugger Star Wars.

Ever since the "Tsst" episode, they've forgotten how to use violence for the sake of humor and now just use it for its own sake. For what it's worth, I think this is another such case, and wonder why I even bother to watch any more.

Star Wars books don't count. Unless it was on the big screen, it doesn't really exist.

(cue canon war!)
That's part of what annoyed me about the new episodes. Lucas okayed all the books, then contradicts them. Hell, he contradicted his own first trilogy. Idiot.

I haven't watched South Park in a couple years... though I probably should since I'm like half an hour away from the town it's based in...

You, too? Where, Littleton?

If you're wondering why I've been acting like such a jerk in Off Topic lately......

 THIS IS THE BIGGEST REASON.

This latest season of South Park has been really poor. Personally I think the real reason the season paused for several months is because the writers were locked in a dungeon and tortured until they came up with better material. The last couple of episodes (raping Star Wars and Cartman getting beat up) were improved, but they still fall short.
