    Stargate Civilization IV Demo

Civilization IV play in Civilization III game engine! (Demo Version)

    This Mod Presented By Stargate

    The Mod:
When i download the Civ IV Demo Version, i found it's not really support my PC graphics card NVidia Geforce2, which the units moonwalk in darkness space! At that time, i have a new idea, why not Civ IV play in Civ III game. So i build a mod to mimic the techs, units, civs and others game concepts which found in Civ IV Demo Version. Because it's in Demo version of Civ IV, so i also make it a Demo version for this mod.

    The Game:
    1. There are 4 civs - Rome, Greece, India and Inca. (Civ IV Demo version)
    2. There are 7 religions same as Civ IV Demo version.
    3. The techs are reseach until Divine Right tech only. (Civ IV Demo version)
    4. Every civs have it's own unique unit.
    5. Every civs have different 2 starting tech.
    6. There are 5 govement system. (CIV III game engine)
    7. The mod only have 100 turns. (Civ IV Demo Version)
    8. This is a random map game.
    9. not all Civ IV game concept is applied in Civ III.

    The Future Project:
May be we will make it a expanded mod from this demo version to a Full Version in future.
The Full Version currently in under construction, so be patience.
Any suggestions and new ideas about the Full Version can post it here.

This mod currently only in random map, which recommended to choose small map because of the limited civ players in the mod. Map size not tested yet.
Earth worldmaps may be available in full version.

:king: I just figured out how to change the look of the terrian. I had minor problems but someone helped me with that already. I took screenshots off of the web and made my custom textures based off of the civ4 game. I am working on changing the look of the civ3 terrian. Hopefully it'll come together well and look somewhat civ4'ish. I'm a graphic designer for a company and they keep me busy all the time. So it'll take awhile untill i finish everything but so far all of the water is done. I might change it slightly though, like get rid of the colour variation nearer to the coast. hmm, we'll see.

Im pretty sure this isnt allowed.. When I tried to do the same thing for normal civ 3 when ptw came out I was told by TF or Chieftess that you couldnt make a mod like this because it wasnt allowed to host actual civilization game files.

    Hello, I have some idea's.

Know you civilization test of time? And cal of the power? Get this to one mod and you have a big game with many technicals and units.
And multi maps is also possible.

In future I look or I can make this some, maby I am alone then to make this one.
