How should i make my Sg1 mod?

so far so good, all the tests are running well...Im working on the Civilopedia, but thats not gonna stop release...Everything should be set up, I just need to fix the terrain(If I bother) and the tech Icons(this is more likely to be done)
 
well thats good spacer the release of this is going to be a historical date. About as historical as when the weapon is used and anubis and the replicators are destroyed.

Im just glad to have it near finished, and playable...

Im starting on the "Credits" text tonight, so anyone who made contributions, and wants credit, that I dont know of...Please lemme know who and what...

The credits for most graphics will be included in their Civ text, and also in the Credits text...

Also, if anyone is willing to gather a list of Goa'uld and/or Jaffa city names, Id be thankful...Its not needed for release, but building New Abydos, or Chu'lak 2 is just odd...
 
Yes spacer city names would be good but its alright how it is. for the abydos scenario i just have pyamid 1 pyramid 2 etc but thats sumwhat fine for that scenrio.

i cant believe it what i started out to do (unsucessfully i might add) is finally almost complete. And from this i hope that many more SG Scenarios are made and maybe a big SG Mod if someone can figure out how to represent the gate system.

I liked the one with small planets and the railroads on the outer edge...

My original concept(Before I read the thread) was to use Airports, and put 6-9 of them around each "Stargate"...but I couldnt figure out how to change "control" of a stargate so that anyone could take/use it...

either way, before I will start working on any full MODS, someone(possibly me) will have to develop some LH making abilities...I am not a big fan of filler graphics...I would use static LH if I even knew how to make them, but I dont have the progs for it...

NO they can't. In season 7 episode 16 it is stated that the kenetic forces of such an explosion would kill it regardless of the armor. The self descruct of the Alpha site killed one. They can shrug off c4, m60s, m4s, m16s, staff weapons and zat'ni'katel but they can't shrug off the laws of physics:D

HAMMOND: Is there anything else we can use against these drones?

DAD: Their armor is impervious to energy weapons and regular firearms are useless.

JACKSON: What about the drones that were killed in the blast?

DAD: Kinetic energy.. an explosion of that size. They can't ignore physics.

Ok, Marine, do you have anything to input besides technical arguement?..

All you ever comment on, is when others are wrong, maybe you should do the scenario if you are so knowledgable on the subject?...
 
For the record guys, this whole thing is being shelved...

I cant get anyone to do the Ha'tak, or Al'kesh...So...if you want to see this get released, I need someone to do them...I have tried to help find models and meshes as much as I can, but Im pretty much over waiting...I tried guys, but noone except Flamand was willing to do anything for this MOD, so it will sit on my HD until the ships get done...

Im sorry to all of you who want/wanted to play it, but I will not put it out in its incomplete state, even tho it is fully playable...The Goa'uld factions have no chance to get off their planet, and so it is terribly unbalanced...and not worth releaseing...

Again, Im sorry, I was hoping this would be my first completed scenario

@ marine corps- jacob carter says that in the show but in that same episode sam carter finds the crashed UAV and uses the missle it was carrying and shoots it directly at the kull warrior and i does not die. Then Colonol Oneill and teal'c come and save the day as usual.
 
come on i hope some1 makes the hatak and alkesh caus the goa'uld have no way of gettin off their planets and have nothing to counter my ultimate Prometheus. and Asgard Mothership.
 
Found a Ha'Tak mesh in LWO but I have trouble converting it to 3ds :(

Edit: problem solved - Bjornlo is going to convert it for me :)
 
Ok, cheer up guys.

I sent the complex Ha'tak to Flamand. But, it might be too complex and detailed to be used in Civ3.
So I also sent him this far simpler model. It is a derivative of a Ha'tak.

And while not perfect will probably be a good enough place to start.

Now if one of you can find an Al'Kesh (in case I don't have one).
