Regeneration In Process
YAY! NK started with the otter-moles (I do hope that they're bigger then their prototypes)!
For some reason, social life in my mind is associated with grand Victorian balls. If you can imagine otter-moles in dancing Victorian suits and dresses, let me know.
Story:
Arus sat down on the elaborately-designed golden chair and closed his eyes. His mind quickly drifted from the physical world, and entered the Collective Mind.
He no longer was as overtaken by emotions and thoughts - emotions and thoughts of OTHER people - as he was in the first time.
He isolated himself, crudely, from all others, and begun searching for somebody very similar. He looked at somewhat-erased, relatively old traces of thoughts... and minds of people now dead. He read about how to do it, and he did. He noticed a dead mind very, very similar to his own.
He concentrated on it. He was denied the truth about his parents for too long. While families were not as valued by blue-skins as they were by purple-skins, being denied that was frustrating.
The young Alean accessed his father's mind...
