Start Laptop - CIV IV CD auto starts the Uninstall program.

Everytime I start my laptop the CIV IV cd automatically starts the program to uninstall the game. I have to wait for it to finish loading in, just so I can press "cancel". Then I can start the game.

I have deselected auto start in WinXP for the cd drive. (No Action)

Anybody encountered this? If so any solution to this?

I would look into your startup. And see if the game in there. If so delete it. I use Startup for stuff like Winamp or antivirus program. I do see a program Xfire which is from the new update. 109

Well there was nothing in the startup.
Strangely while editing my civ4.ini file for that blasted "minimum req...." I noticed there was a line for an auto start of cd. I set it to 1 (deactivate). Restarted my machine. and it resulted in the uninstall program to start and then just cancels half way through.

So I got a 50% solution......

So if anyone knows another trick, let me know.
