Well, I started a game with 7 other civ with me as the Greeks. I did a standard earth map and I was randomly placed to start in Mexico. This really stunk because I could only get about 1/4 of the way into North America until I ran into the Romans and had to stop. In the south, I couldn't get into South America because India was down there. So there were 3 civs in the Americas and the rest in, well, the rest of the world. I was attacked early on by Rome but managed to hold them off while only losing one city before a signed a treaty. There was some tension with India for a while, but that disappeared. The superpowers in the world were Rome, China, and Egypt at about the Ancient times through Middle Ages. China had Europe and west Asia and Egypt had east Asia. I was by far the smallest of all the civs, and I couldn't expand anywhere else or defeat anyone in battle to expand! Then, for some reason, China declared war on me right before Industrial Age, and they razed two cities, including my capital, but I survived and signed a treaty. I was now very friendly with Rome and India. Because I had devoted all resources to surviving those two wars, I was about 75-100 years behind in research of everyone else. I got my break, though, when China and Rome went to war and beat each other up. That weakened both countries, and soon after China destroyed Persia, which had all of Africa. The Chinese made a huge mistake, though. They razed all the cities and didn't claim any of Africa! I immediately swept in and took all of Africa w/o a fight. In the meantime, (now into early modern times) China was becoming more powerful and was slowly destroying Egypt. China took out all of Egypt but made the same mistake, and I came in and took all of east Asia. There were a few Egyptian cities in Japan, but I quickly declared war on them and defeated them. I have just stared building spaceship and I have nukes 
, and the game is continuing on, with the superpowers now being Rome, Greece (me), and China. A collision is imminent. Oh, and by the way, Babylon has been in southest Asia and Australia the whole time fighting no one and not really doing much, but I plan to invade soon. I went from the smallest and weakest country to maybe most powerful from my bad starting location. Egypt went from most powerful to dead. What a swing! Well, I just felt like telling my story to somone, since my friends in school don't care much. I'll update this if anything else happens (not that anyone here really cares). I rule!
