as with any state of emergency, the head of the military has permission to post any polls on weather cities should "continue building what its been ordered to, or to build a military unit"

I'm the first prez to use state of emergency, but like the turn chat, I hope its something that other presidents use when we are invaded.

I don´t believe that is neccesary. If a city already has a designated next build option we don´t need to vote about it again.

Come on don't play governors for not posting polls! I could have made them yesterday virtually stright away after the turns were played but no saved game was there to be downloaded.

Here's an idea. Every governor should open a thread (at every beggining of a term) with the name of his province.
In the first post of this thread he should keep (by editing) the queues of all the cities in the cities and other informations needed.
As Duck seems to be the new mod of this forum, he would make those threads sticky, and the president wouldn't complain anymore.

The first post should have:
City - Current Porduction - Queue1 - Queue2
Info about caravans and settlers.

What do you think?

That's fine, but every chat session I'm completly lost, and have to ask zillions of questions to the prez and check pools even in the second page!
It's impossible to know if the president is doing what we chose.
The citizens should be up-to-date too.
If there were those province threads pell wouldn't have any reason to complain that some people are not making pools or sending the results.
It's just a sugestion of something that would help (at least help me) a lot.

Sounds like a good idea to me. It would sure reduce the confusion among us ordinary citizens.

I agree with this idea in principle. We should try to make things as streamlined and as accessible as possible. I found that I had to go back some way to find out all the information I needed for the trade summary I put up.
The simplest way that I see for the bureaucracy to be reduced is for each province to have a sticky thread. This thread would have a post for each city in the province with the most up to date screenshot and any other brief details the governor feels necessary. After each turn these screenshots would be replaced, and the production polls for each city would be done as they are now, but without the need for a screenshot on each one. The production polls could link to the screenshot thread if it is felt necessary. This way, as there will only be 1 screenshot for each city, and a couple for the world map each turn, we can minimise the number of attachments and help TF keep the site within the new memory parameters.
This idea is quite similar to Pggar's but the thread would be something like this:
Province Name - City 1 (screenshot, and any other comments) - City 2 (as before), and so on for all the cities in the province. There would only be one screenshot of each city and no real need for screenshots in the discussion threads.

The only problem with this is that if you put all the screenshots in one thread, then it may take awhile to load them all.

It is a very good idea.Might load slow ,then again we have worked more with thread's here that took some time to load.

i will agree to it if Dell19 agree's to it each governor will post a thread concerning his province and i will merge the thread's ,and make the merged thread sticky.

Not really. I don't think that we'll end up with more than 6 cities in one province for some time to come so that'll be 6 screenshots per thread. In fact, we'd have a lot of trouble administrating so many cities and provinces, especially with the reduced trunout in here, so maybe we ought to try to keep some limits. The island with Viroconium on seems ripe for habitation though.
