"California is too big for me to rule by myself. There are too many different peoples, too much land.... I cannot go on like this." And so he decreed that California would become a Federal Republic, ruled by representatives of the people. It would become known as the Commonwealth of Greater Californian Territories, and would be made up of numerous districts in which people would vote for representatives who would in turn make policy in the Grand Senate. Mendez hoped this would make ruling the empire easier, and make the people happy.

The Wonder had been completed! the germanic roads streached from spain to germany! and peace had come from phoenicia! an economic level had been paid for peace, but it was worth it.

The Vikings tried to scare Poland by bragging that they are allied with England. The Emperor took a sword and chopped up that message from the Vikings in defiance.

The Numidian race are a fierce nomadic people living west of Karthenon, who resisted bitterly assimilation first into the Sicilian Kingdom and then later into the Kingdom of Pheonicia.
These people never forgot their nomadic roots and it took the Kingdom many generations to subdue them, now thankfully the Numidians think of themselves as members of the Kingdom and fight for it with the same ferocity that they fought for their independence all those years ago.
Practical game effect, slightly higher offense and defense than generic bronze age troops. A dangerous and versatile troop to replace the Pheonician Bowman as the Kingdoms central troop unit.
