Stealth beeline

Where is the +49 food coming from in that screenshot? Is it all maritime allies?

Only 1 maritime ally.
Aztec UB's +15% food applies to base food, unlike other bonuses that only affect surplus food. and I have full tradition (sums +25% growth in capital) and We love king day(+25% growth) so very fast growth...

Add Radar Ranges and Bomb Shelters. Radar Ranges should increase effectiveness of anti-air defense, shelters reduce damage caused by them (would also reduce damage caused by Nukes). Stealth Bombers would completely ignore the Radar bonus, but would still be limited by shelters. Fighters could still intercept them, they just won't get boosted by radar.
Still Stealth bombers would be able to annihilate land units. They should be nerfed IMO.

Haha I've never used Stealth Bombers, I always win first. :) I actually used a nuke for the first time last night.

Oh, I agree. However, like I said, fighters would still have a not impossible interception rate against all units (which gets boosted by radar). That rate would exist even for Stealth Bombers. Therefore, all units within protective range of a fighter could be protected. Also, having units in cities protected is at least better than nothing. Stealth Bombers need to be powerful, just not over the top powerful. It might be a decent compromise.

Alternatively, yeah, you'd have to nerf them, which might be necessary.

The AA mechanic needs to be boosted in general.

This in part due to players being able to stack air units in cities but not AA. There's no way you will have enough land based AA to fend off a city with multiple bombers. It assumes you'll have fighter cover, but that's not realistic and biased against AI play, since t is the human players who are going to have 10+ bombers to rotate them in and out and focus firing and picking off units en masse, whilst the AI treats their fighters like bombers and will run their units down in health until they get shot down.

In addition to stacking AA effects, and allowing cities to function fully as an AA battery, multiple intercepts should be allowed per unit.

As an aside, I feel like AI airpower logic needs some optimization as it's making fairly terrible decisions right now. They're always annoying and sometimes effective at the start of the war, but the AI usually loses all their air units because they don't know when to stop. It's like they only know one way to play, and that is to take insane risks. What they need is to take those risks when its a high value target (ie: unit protecting GG that they can take with a land unit with air support) but otherwise retreat to heal when heavily damaged and use their fighters as bombers only if its neccessary. Otherwise, they should be intercepting.

you would not believe how overpowered korea can be in a science victory. i hit computers and all the techs on its level and then popped 7 GS to get all i needed for rocket parts. researched nukes and built 4 (only had so much uranium) and nuked the crap out of China (it was just me and them, no RAs)
