Steam - Install and Play at once?

Quick question-

I have vanilla Civ and Warlords installed via Steam. Anyone know if it's OK to play Warlords while I install BTS (also via Steam)? Will it screw with the installation?

Don't try and play Warlords while installing BTS! It is not advisable to play this sort of game while installing anything (most installers will tell you to shut down any other programs) and in this case some of the files are updated during the installation so you'll be doubly screwed. It may refuse to install anyway until you close Warlords, but I wouldn't want to bet on it. There are enough potential problems as you'll see from these forums without adding more that you can avoid.
