steam - windows 8 - sdk - world builder - stops responding on load

as my tittle states the world builder simply refuses to load and stops responding would love some help note: no error message is given, and i have all dependencies

Having same problem only I am using Win 7.

I am also having this issue. In addition, the Steam client always tries to update the SDK and reinstall the .NET framework, even though I already have it installed.
