Forgive me if I have nothing better to do; as it's raining and I'm reeling from a three hour-long bike ride. However, if I may interject:

From quick information yielded by the search facility, the writing styles of Stellar Converter/Kraftwerk's accounts are ostensibly identical. Stellar posted several times at Mr. Len's site, where Kraftwerk obtained a free e-mail account. IP addresses are not very relevant in revealing identity, as Kraftwerk used dialup access from several different locations.

Most damning of all, Kraftwerk held grudges in his posts and profile distinctly towards Stellar's adversaries and shared his obsession with this forum, as the loose cannon's moderating powers were revoked.

I am uncertain as to the choice of Kraftwerk's name (German: Kraft (n.) strength, Werk (n.) work). It's the name of a well-known band. Care to comment, Stellar? It's terribly unfortunate Kraftwerk is insulated by cyberspace; Thunderfall, I opine that you remove Stellar's account.

I opine that you remove bvd's acount because he knew all that stuff and so I think that he framed stellar with many coincidences and used Info that any frequent poster here knew and could use to his advantage!

i agree, but that is up to thunder...i at least want my registration date back. and my email address. i must admit, all of kraftwerks posts are quite funny.

As a relative newcomer to CFC, and someone who is unfamiliar with the kraft-stuff to begin with, I'd say just behave no matter who you are, from this point onwards. I imagine no one will complain about you if you don't try to personalize/polarize certain issues and don't cause trouble

IMHO, it is kind of silly to ask (or troll for "support" from) folks to decide an issue that seems (from the discussions) like it cannot be definitively known (e.g., your "real" identity). So just be a decent dude, and FWIW in my little part of the world, all is fine with me.

However, my findings conclude the following:

Stellar's original account last posted on June 21 - the day of the Summer Solstice. He announced that he was LEAVING the forum in a thread, which was at odds with the rules. The thread was closed.

Kraftwerk's first post came the following day. It was a seemingly benign comment related to pop-culture music; nothing appeared wrong at first. Then, upon the effacement of one of his posts, a psychotic personality was triggered within the depths of Krafwerk's mind. Thus the spamming and name-calling on multiple accounts began.

In my mind, it was Stellar's attempt to repair his reputation; the once venerable moderator was now hated by a lot of posters. He started anew as "Kraftwerk" after a melodramatic ceremony, and when his initiative to gain everyone's attention and respect was stymied, he endeavored to trash the forum.

But what would motivate him to use a different dialup connection in order to change IPs? Is it common practice for moderators to log each poster's IP address without anything warranting it? Or did he know that he was to spam from the start?

As you and I know <IMG SRC="http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/smile.gif" border=0> Stellar was kind and polite enough to reciprocate in a civilized fashion. However, this is after Kraftwerk's activity ceased permanently ...

I am convinced, nothing is to dissuade me, but no matter! I'm to study forensics upon entering college; this is just a mere exercise in detectivework. Now on to the Nostradamus quatrains, to see if anything alludes to this ...
