It's what the version is called (I should have given it a capital letter) so I guess you haven't. Have you got Conquests (plus vanilla and maybe Play the World)? Gold?
In the bottom left(?) of the menu screen you should see the version that you have installed. Highest versions are 1.22 for conquests, 1.27f for PtW and 1.29f for vanilla.
