So, this is it. New map, new rules, a fresh start. I will keep this going as long as I have time for, which should be for a while hopefully. As long as you send in enough orders, I will update.
Economy
First of all, your economy will be free from the restrictions of many of the other story NESes. That essentially means that you can have as big an economy as you want. Economy will be in number levels, allowing for unlimited economy. However, there is a catch, in that it takes longer to upgrade your economy if you have a bigger one, as this allows for no one to have a mass-spending spree. If your economy is 9 or below, it takes 1 turn, 10 to 19, two turns, 20 to 29, three turns, etc.
Armed Forces
This is also something a little different. Armed forces will go up by numbers, but not like the amount of men as in many other NESes. It will go up by the number of armies you have, so you can have as many armies as you want. The same goes for navies, and eventually air forces. Training will still be a part of this NES, as well as age. To train your forces, it will cost two economy levels, but will NOT lower your army/navy/air force count. To upgrade the age of your army, it will cost an economy level and lower your training level by one. The training levels are Poor, Moderate, Well-Trained, Elite.
Ages
As with all NESes, there will be ages to advance to. The better your education, the more likely it is you eceive an age advance first. Here are the ages:
Stone Age
Bronze Age
Iron Age
Classical Age
Dark Ages
Middle Ages
Renaissance
Imperial Age
Industrial Age
Early Modern Age
Middle Modern Age
Late Modern Age
Digital Age
Space Age
More to come if necessary...
And the education levels:
Dumb
Poor
Mediocre
Literate (limit until Renaissance)
Superb
Enlightened
Culture and Wonders
Culture will play a much more important role in this game. First of all, like In Puma's NES, it will go by numbers. If you have more culture, your wonder build time will decrease. To increase your culture, you need to write stories. As for wonders, there may be a maximum of five per age. If you tell me what exactly the wonder does, then I will determine how long it takes. The length will be determined by culture and the benefits of the wonder.
Mood
Your people's mood is determined by what kind of things happen to your nation. If you win battles and build wonders and such, people will be happy, but if disaster or bad leadership befalls your nation, your people will be angry. Levels:
Revolting
Furious
Unhappy
Peaceful
Happy
Enthusiastic
Jubilant
