Stop killing me!

Fair enough, but how do I get a legacy revision if the current one is invalid? Anyway to do it using Tortoise?

I just gave up on a Clan game because my world spell netted me about 300 barbarian units, a good chunk of which were leashed (and therefore useless), and the rest hanging out in my territory in big stacks in every square after they reverted back to barbarian. Deleting them didn't work because they would just re-spawn in my territory as barbarians. Then my game started crashing.

RifE spawns entirely too many barbarians.

I actually play with Advanced Start: 6600. I prefer to start more advanced as then the game doesnt take too long.
An advanced start also takes care for the Barbarian problem as all civs start with 3 or more cities.
Naturally there is always one unlucky civ, e.g. the Hippus like to found too many cities initially, loose some of them to early Barbarian raids and then Archeron spawns within walking distance of each Hippus-city as they are initially close to each other.
This doesnt affect the Human player though as he is not building more cities than he can defend :)
Besides such early Barbarian rushes can lead to interesting AI empires. While some civs get reduced to small strips of land which are defendable (mountains and such) other civs clean up after them. So I had one game where the Sheaim got reduced to a small coastal territory by Barbs and then Archos took over from the Barbs becoming the dominant power in their area.
