I just finished a war against the Zulus. The Babs, who were also fighting them, got Agum, a great leader, in the process. Right now I am just blockading the leader in so he can't get to a Babylon city. Is that a good idea. I definately don't want to fight them or anyone else right now. I also am building Suffrage and TOE so I don't want them to be rushed.

enemy leaders are like crouches, you kill one when you see one. :D

but if you don't wanna fight them, then you don't really have a choice, eh?

Blockading sounds viable to me, as long as it is in no-mans land. Else you might get in trouble. For fun and profit, build a city next to it, so you can harrass the babylonians for trespassing.

NO! Just keep blocking it until your wonders are built and none others are up for construction. After that, you can either kill it or let it go if you need your units elsewhere.

If you let it go right away, it could be used to rush. If you kill it right away, it could be replaced in another battle and that one probably won't be possible to catch.

I agree that blockading is the best idea. They could go to war with someone else and get another if you kill it. If you keep him hostage, the AI won't be able to get another one at war.

I haven't seen the AI rush a wonder using a GL. As far as I am aware they only use them for armies?

i have they had a city just started magellans a turn later they had finished it they were at war with quite a lot of people
