Can I Kick It?
All the people I know have been telling me that IE is the best browser to use. They would be right if the thing actually worked. When Windows was fresh on my comp IE worked fine but as time went by it just got worse and worse. It started with just a few error messages and boot up problems (frustrating but tolerable). Then in the last few months it has taken up freezing itself periodically. In the beginning it would just lock up for a second or so but a few days ago it was locking up for two or three minutes at a time every time I brought up a new webpage (absolutely unnaceptable). I reinstalled IE, updated the version from five to six, and even reinstalled windows and it just kept sucking.
So I said, "TO HELL WITH THIS PIECE OF MUNKY SCHLONG!" Netscape was an adequate solution to the problem but I hate the layout and hate even more the boot up time it takes. So now I got Opera version 6.0 and the thing is totally kick ass. It's an all-in-one explosive package of browser, POP3 email access, search tools, and instant messaging.
Toss away IE and get Opera.
