It was a good game. I had a lot of fun playing it and thanks to Civaddict and Predesad for stepping in and taking over when people left. I don't want to take anything away from the American's victory but I'm pretty sure I could have won the game had I not run into a bug. I built Shakespeare's theater in Berlin, however it never let my city grow beyond size 12 until I built a hospital. That was very aggrevating. I'm pretty sure I could have been a little faster on the tech had I been able to generate some more trade.
How close was the game? Well, I built my 10th spaceship part this turn also. But since I'm not first I can't launch it. The one thing that saved the Americans was when they finally nuked all my luxuries a couple of turns ago. That made me take my citizens and turn them into entertainers which slowed my research down by one turn.
Anyway, great game and it was a lot of fun during the fighting parts! Bunch of great guys here to play with.

yes, it was a great game, glad i could fill in. without the cooperation of greybeard i would not have been able to win, he too could have potentially won on the next turn like DogBoy, but given we did not know how soon germany would discover the last tech, i had no choice but to go ahead and take the victory myself this turn. personally i feel it is a joint victory between greybeard and myself.
i am still suprised china was willing to completely throw the game to the germans, never even building a part.

I'd like to offer my thanks to everyone too. It was a strange but interesting game. I learned a few new things from this game but I don't think I would play another one with these limitations. I will meet Dogboy again as we are in another game together but haven't made contact yet. As for Predesad and Civaddict, it was a pleasure playing with you and maybe we will meet again in another game.
