Strange Crashing

Hi all,

I've just recently run into a problem and I can't find anything similar listed.

I have only BtS installed, no mods or anything odd, and I'm patched to the latest version. It's a fresh install on this PC (which meets the requirements for the game) and I'm fairly sure the game worked fine before.

Just recently, any time the Roman leader (either) pops up, the game freezes. The music keeps playing, but I can't minimize or exit or anything, forcing me to do a hard restart every time. I haven't run into any other issues so far and I can't figure out what is wrong. Normally I'd just try reinstalling, but I'm overseas and didn't bring my Civ IV disks with me. Of course. :S

Anyone know what could fix it up?

By the way, this would go in the tech support sub-forum.

The only advice I can offer is don't use the Roman leaders in your games until you can reinstall.

Hi Crisis,

I think you use only 1 explore like mozila but if you try some work in IE then your problems easy resolve.
