More new things keep popping up! Now i see a German civilization with a goody hut INSIDE its cultural borders! wish I could do this, had to abandon my last game when an expansion provided 3 barbarian warriors to kil my worker and pillage my lands outside my capitol!

Could it be that the German borders expanded when you weren't actively watching the place, and the borders updated while the hut did not?

That actually makes more sense than them randomly being allowed to do it there are no units near so i cant check, i right clicked on the square but it says the hut is still there

Conformist is right. It happened to me several times. In the map the hut is still there, but when you explore or buy/steal an updated map the hut vanishes.

That's happened to me so many times, I'm not even surprised at it anymore.
