i do below average when playing on chieftain, but when i
tried warlord difficulty computer kicked my butt.
i need some help to stop me :wallbash: hitting my head into a wall.

You need more practice and you should read the strategy guides on this page. Could you post a screenie of your city placements or a save? As a start...

i don't have good screenies now but i'll start by reading the articles(all of them)

This forum has helped me immensly. I am on the verge of my first Regent win in no small part to the advice I received from this forum. The strategy guides are excellent, and there is a post on just about every facet of the game.

Some good tips can be found here:

http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=102757 <-- Tips on just about everything

http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=102802 <-- Tips about stopping cities from rioting

http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=102587 <-- Tips about what to build early in the game

That's just the tip of the iceberg :)

Your best bet would be to post a save/screenie of your game to let people see your current strategy.

I've checked the most useful guides of the war academy.
I'll start now and i'll bring screenies usually but not everyday.

Press the button marked "Print Screen" on your keyboard. Go to Windows Start Meny, under Accessories choose the program Paint. Once in Paint - choose paste (paste your captured image). There are other (more) sophisticated programs, but this way works smoothly for me ;)

I guess so, give it a try. You can "print screen" your desktop or whatever. And then choose "paste" as soon as the program is running.

Have a read of the War Academy and the various other hints and tips in the thread. It can't be underestimated how useful these are. I won my first Regent game yesterday and, in fact, found it quite starightforward. Up until discovering this site last month, I had trouble surviving on Regent into the MAges

:)
the search founded it.
but now the uploader is giving a "invalid post specified" message. i'll try again.

Where are the dificulties??? for Warlord you just need some practice and then you can make all computers crying...now the Deity level...I am playing it right now and it is going well... :king:

You could also check Chieftess signature. There are links to "Paint Shop Pro 3.11 shareware (screenshot util - doesn't expire)" and info on file upload. But if you have Paint Shop Pro 7...

PSP 7 works fine. Save your file as a JPEG (file extension .jpg) or GIF (.gif), though. I don't think the forum supports .psp files.

You also shouldn't need to use the file upload system -- you can just save your screenshot as an attachment. If you're using the Quick Reply box to post your message, click on 'go advanced' and scroll down to near the bottom. There should be something called 'manage attachments' or something similar. Follow the directions there. (If you're using the 'post reply' button, you'll already have the advanced options, so just scroll down and look for 'manage attachments'.) Good luck.
