So I was finishing another game of Civ, and noticed that there was only ONE coastal city which didn't belong to me (Egypt was nice to me after I reduced them to one city =]) All of the others.. I had captured. 6 from Japan, 5 from China, 3 from Rome, 1 from Egypt, 1 from France, and 1 from India (but it was destroyed when I took it.)

This is when I realised.. my strength is naval forces. I get disappointed when there are no more costal cities I want.. (lol)

And I'm not quite sure what my weakness is.. judging by the game I was just playing I'd have to say Aircraft, but a few weeks ago I pratically wiped out an entire civilization using a combination naval/air attack with about 3 Battleships and probably some 25 bombers..

I would guess my weakness is just coordinating land forces with other units so I can ocupy a city after I get rid of all defending units =P Although I am getting better at that.. =]

What is everybody else's strengths/weaknesses?

My weakness is that I always have finished the game before other civs are able to build airplanes or battleships. I always fight with ancient units and the AI just doesn't have a chance to get past the level of chariot, knight, legion etc.

Once in a while I play OCC, when I've got all techs I just start conquering the world. Most of the time it works but when the AI takes back a city and acquires automobile or flight it can become a tricky situation!

lol, yeah.. I know how that is. I lost one of my biggest cities to the French beause I had only 1 unit defending it. ('course, I've got over 60 cities, so it is diffiult to have more than 1 unit defending each city because of the unit limit.. =P =O)

Strength: land attack. Chariots, armor. Sometimes knights.
Weakness: defense. I rarely upgrade my city defenses and often have militia in my capital.

I do that a lot too. =P But I grow extremely fast in the beginning, so usually by the time I need to upgrade, my capitol is usually surrounded by tons of cities with better units anyways =P

Give them a chance, man :D
Follow my advice: Just conquer 2/3 of the world and develop it till... THE BIG END

Strenghs: More cities > More and better units than AIs; 250+ settlers:D
Weakness: Too perfeccionist.

That probably applies to me as well. =P And I'm also probably a bit too defensive. Although I guess that makes defense a strength of mine, it still causes weaknesses I guess..

The problem with being defensive in higher levels is that the AI units become stronger and the AI seems to be able to pump out those units without any effort while still being able to build up their cities.
Defense works at the lowest 3 levels but the highest 2 levels require a more offensive aproach.

Once, in emperor, all my Zulu african cities produced less science that 3 french cities and 2 roman cities.
THAT was highway roberring...

I won that game by killing them early, when ships weren't able yet, founding cities in all Africa, midlle east and western Russia.
But even this way it wasn't easy...

Strength: I feel when the AI will suddenly flash a wonder I am building, and I save the game just before that. Yes, I am strong at reloading.

Weakness: I keep on developping my cities, acquiring knowledge, instead of attacking and bribing other cities. I'm too civilized.

Well, actually...

Chaos is usually more fun than peace. So much for the title of this game, then...

extreme chaos = every civilisation at war with each other (active war, too) =D

I sure would love to see something like that (especially with 7 civs!)

Strength: Micromanagement

Weakness: Too much of a nice guy...still in peacetime production until I see enemy armor on my doorstep...
