Wow. When I looked at my last safe file it was 15 turns ago, but also 2,5 hours!

15 turns took me 2,5 hours! :p Have to say that I was also at war and had to move a lot of units, but still. I am like at my 270th turn or something.

More players experience longer thoughts and therefore slower play?

Late-game wars take forever due to the number of units to manage, but it was ever thus.

I've once done 10 turns in 40 minutes :crazyeye:

Yeah, I'm having to make a LOT of decisions and it's taking me a lot longer to finish games.

And I don't think these are all decisions that will go away with acclimation, either. Some of them are really, really, tough ones to make.

We're thinking of taking on a BNW multiplayer game soon, and I'm a little hesitant due to how long I think it will take us to finish turns...

Is Decession the middle ground between a depression and a recession?

Hehe. Thanks. Indeed it is decision. Edited the title name. It was late when I posted it. ;)

I made a mistake in my calculation by the way. It was not 2,5 hours, but 50 minutes for 15 turns. I took a break and then went on playing further on my last safe.

But still..

I am now going to choose an ideology with Poland. Probably a less long decision, because three players already have chosen Order and I want to keep their friend. ;)

The longest turns are now, and have always been, the last handful of turns before you win cultural victory, finish that final spaceship part or get voted the world leader.
