In extreme cases (and it does not have to be something obviously somatic, like losing limbs etc) while i still do not agree with legal euthanasia, i can accept one's right to kill himself. I have seen photos of people who fell deliberately on machines which cut them into two pieces, so as to kill themselves, so yeah, if one is in such a state i guess he has the right to kill himself - and hopefully get some help too along the way.
But if we legalize euthanasia for all, chances are it will take a while before it stabilizes, and many thousands who otherwise would not have killed theirselves would perish.
