Sumer

Asia is vastly under represented. It's the biggest and most populous continent in the world, and home to the only surviving and still flourishing ancient culture. We should have Vietnamese in the game. Maybe Thailand too. One big problem with adding more East Asian countries is that China alone takes up so much of that area, and almost all other countries in the region is heavily influenced by Chinese culture, it's difficult to come up with an unique Civ to add in.

I suppose, if you hold an interest- but untill there is any substence to your claim, your just going to have to hand the ingenuity to ouyr own species, and accept we have self-made glory :P

And on that note, if the Sumerians did invent all thier own stuff, including getting the co-ordinates of Pluto dead on (it was not even rediscovered until 1930 AD!), practically isolated by themselves then they certainly deserve to be in.

Ok for some reason the moderators didn't like that last post, which was a link to a site about Sumeria. But I have deleted it anyway. Maybe I am not allowed links to other sites.

The epic of Gilgamesh, it is believed, was based on an actual king of the same name (sans 'the epic of'). Enkidu was a character in the epic.

Which means its UU is completely make believe. Unless it too is based on something, in which case it was probably a standard warrior with a slightly worse attitude.

Endiku is fiction, but an Endiku Warrior might not be (but probably is ;) )

Other Mesopotamian Myths include Sargon being discovered as a Baby floating in a basket in the river (obviously similar to Moses). Sargon was real, but this myth might not be. That's why I wondered about Gilgamesh being real.

i think a litle after 4000 bc (say 3800 to 3500bc) is a bit late for the fist civilazation, im allmos sure thers a lost civilaation a good 500-1000 years befor 4000bc. allso, thay did not invent wrightinh, it came from egypet, thay found in a tomb, smal post stamp type tags(for lablying??, ther made of thin stone, and have a hold in the top right corner.) on them thay have hyroglipic(spelling) type things, i bit difrent from thos of ancnet egypt that we know of today. but thaer that oldist wighten words.

The lost civilizations were at Çatal Hüyük and Jericho, and existed about 3,000-5,000 years prior. Though they were only cities.

Sumer absolutely did invent cuneiform. Your theory is fun, but most archaeologists would disagree.

The Enkidu warrior from what I have read at the UGO site will have an extra point of health. Whether an elite unit has 6, I'm not exactly sure.

so it will have an atack of 2, and an extra health??(or defens of 2??)

I think it will have more defense, but that's just my guess
