Sumeria Doesn't Get Barbarian Encampment Bonus

Just been playing some with Sumeria, and they don't seem to be getting their Encampment Bonus. They receive the gold as intended, but not the Tribal Village bonus.

Actually, they do but there is no pop-up or indicator. For that village I did actually get extra gold, but only got a popup for +40 (went from 44 to 124).

Same thing happened earlier with Faith.

I think there's no popup for the gold reward. Same with tribal village. Also tried Sumeria and got the "tribal village" bonus correctly.

I do think that this behavior is working as intended. Gold and experience and the like are not pop-up worthy.
