SVN too Large

Sorry if this should be somewhere else but I couldn't figure out where to put it.

I want to download the SVN for obvious reasons but am having difficulties solely based on the size of the download. The issue is that where I live I can only get terrible internet service. I do however use my phone data as a hotspot to download but it is capped to 4 GB a month. Obviously making it difficult to download the SVN.

Is there any way to dowload it in sections or a compressed version?

I's also be interested about this, my connection tends to be a bit up and down but I am desperate to get the wonder videos, some were removed from the released versions between v20 and 21 (Bath of Mohenjo Daro etc) - out of all my complaints about Civ 5 (and I had plenty), the lack of proper wonder videos was right up there - it may seem shallow but amongst all the other issues I had with the game that is one that shone out as the "cherry on top" (or lack of cherry, as it happens) was the ruddy poor wonder completion screen.

Ooops, rambling again! Main point of my post - initial SVN download unmanageable on my poor connection, is there any other way to do that first download?

If you open the Tortopise SVN repo-browser (which you can do from right clicking any directory) you can browse up and down the hierarchy within SVN and just create working folders on your machine for whatever subsets you wish.
